De Los Santos signed a one-year, major-league contract with the Astros on Thursday, Chandler Rome of The Athletic reports.
Scouting Report
Has a tremendous fastball, thanks to a great arm and lots of life in his pitches. Owns a projectabe frame. Can make batters uncomfortable in the box and also induces a lot of groundballs. Needs to improve both his changeup and curve in order to maximize his strikeout potential in Major League Baseball. Otherwise, hitters can sit on his fastball a bit too easily.
Long Range Potential: Depth right-hander.
